A peaceful lakeside backdrop for couples who love simplicity. Exchange vows at the water’s edge with sky overhead and the forest behind you. Minimal, intimate, and ideal for elopements and micro-weddings.

Inside the A-Frame Cabin

A warm, personal indoor option for colder months. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the forest, creating a cozy, light-filled space for a simple and meaningful ceremony with a few close guests.

FAQ

What is the maximum capacity?

We can host up to 25 overnight guests in the cabins. The number of guests on the wedding day depends on the layout, meal style, and the ratio of adults to children. We will ask:

  • How many guests are sleeping in the cabins
  • Adults vs. children
  • Meal style (buffet, plated service, or food truck)
  • Whether picnic tables are acceptable for some guests
How many guests can sleep in the cabins?

Total overnight capacity: 25 guests.

  • Cabins 1 & 2 → up to 6 guests each
  • Cabins 3 & 4 → up to 2 guests each
  • Cabins 5, 6 & 7 → up to 3 guests each
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes — all micro-weddings and Pavilion rentals require a minimum 2-night stay.
What’s included with the Pavilion?
  • Covered pavilion with harvest wood tables, chairs, and white curtains
  • 3 folding tables for dessert, buffet, or head table
  • Mobile bar trailer
  • Large outdoor fire pit and benches (wood provided)
  • Ceremony area: benches and signing table
  • Wine-barrel cocktail tables and umbrellas
  • Tiny A-frame playhouse for kids
  • Outdoor wedding washroom (2 toilet areas)
  • Access to docks, lakefront, forest, and trails
Do you offer add-ons or equipment?

Yes, additional fees may apply:

  • White pavilion curtains
  • Rain panels

  • Pizza oven
Can we bring our own food or caterer?
Yes — caterer, food truck, or self-catered meals are all welcome.
Can we serve alcohol?
Yes — BYO alcohol. Event insurance with Host Liquor Liability is required and must name Chalets Prunella as additional insured. Proof is required 30 days prior to the event.
Can we decorate ourselves?

Yes — please follow these rules:

  • No tape, glue, staples, nails, or screws
  • All décor must be removed after the event
  • Candles must be fully enclosed in glass

Please inform us in advance of your decoration plan, especially for floral installations, lighting, signage structures, or rented décor.

Confetti or sparklers — are they allowed?

Not allowed:

  • Confetti
  • Artificial petals
  • Balloons
  • Glitter
  • Sparklers / pyrotechnics
  • Rice

Allowed outdoors: real petals, birdseed, bubbles.

What are the noise and timing rules?
  • Music at a reasonable volume at all times
  • Volume reduced after 9 PM
  • Events must end by 10 PM
  • Pavilion must be vacated by 11 PM
Is there a security deposit?
Yes — a $500 damage/security deposit is required, refunded within 3 days if there is no damage or additional cleaning.
What is the cancellation policy?
All payments are non-refundable. If the date is successfully re-rented, payments are refunded minus $100. Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Are pets allowed?
Yes — with prior approval, and pets must remain leashed at all times.
Can we visit before booking?
Absolutely! We’ll show you the Pavilion, cabins, ceremony spaces, and grounds. Please share a few dates that work for you.
