Nestled beneath pines and maple trees, and bathed in soft forest light, our Pavilion is perfect for couples seeking a serene yet styled outdoor space. Say your vows under a draped wooden arbor, surrounded by nature’s soundtrack—rustling leaves, birdsong, and the gentle crackle of a nearby firepit. With a covered gazebo, cocktail wine barrels, umbrellas, and space for up to 25 guests, this setting offers the ideal blend of charm and comfort. It’s a versatile space that works beautifully in every season.

For couples drawn to simplicity and stillness, our private dock offers a stunning lakeside backdrop. Exchange vows with the shimmering water at your feet and sky overhead—a minimalist setting that lets nature take center stage. Ideal for elopements or micro-weddings, the dock ceremony invites you to focus solely on each other, in a space that feels as expansive as your love.

During the colder months—or for those dreaming of a quiet, deeply personal ceremony—our A-frame cabins offer a warm and romantic indoor option. With floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the forest like a living painting, each cabin is a cozy cocoon of light and love. Add string lights, a small ceremony arbor, and a few close guests, and your indoor celebration becomes beautifully simple and deeply meaningful.

End your celebration wrapped in forest calm. Each A-frame cabin features a cedar hot tub under the stars, radiant heated floors, a wood stove for cozy nights, and panoramic views of the trees. Chalets Prunella — Wedding & Pavilion FAQ (EN)
What is the maximum guest capacity?

We can comfortably host up to 25 overnight guests in the cabins. Day-of guest count depends on seating, layout, and meal style. We will ask:

  • How many guests are sleeping in the cabins
  • Adults vs. children
  • Meal style (buffet, plated, food truck)
  • Whether picnic tables are acceptable for kids or extra adults
How many people can sleep in the cabins?

Maximum 25 total overnight guests (adults + children):

  • Cabins 1 & 2 → up to 6 guests each
  • Cabins 3 & 4 → up to 2 guests each
  • Cabins 5, 6 & 7 → up to 3 guests each
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes — all micro-weddings and Pavilion rentals require a minimum 2-night stay.
What is included with the Pavilion rental?
  • Covered pavilion with harvest wood tables, chairs & white curtains
  • 3 folding tables (dessert, buffet, or head table)
  • Mobile bar trailer
  • Large fire pit + benches (wood provided; more available)
  • Ceremony area (arbor, benches, aisle runner, signing table)
  • Wine barrel cocktail tables + umbrellas
  • Tiny A-frame playhouse for kids
  • Wedding outhouse (2 toilet areas)
  • Access to docks, lakefront, forest and grounds
Do you offer décor or equipment add-ons?

Yes — small additional fees may apply:

  • White pavilion curtains
  • Rain panels
  • Outdoor lantern package
  • Flower planters
  • Aisle runner
  • Pizza oven
Can we bring our own food or caterer?
Yes — we are flexible: caterer, food truck, or self-catered.
Can we serve alcohol?
Yes — alcohol is BYO. Event insurance with Host Liquor Liability is required, naming Chalets Prunella as additional insured. Proof is required 30 days before the event.
Can we decorate ourselves?

Yes — with the following rules:

  • No tape, glue, staples, nails, or screws
  • All décor must be removed after the event
  • Candles must be fully enclosed in glass

You must inform us in advance of your decoration plan, especially for floral installations, lighting, signage structures, or rented décor.

Are confetti or sparklers allowed?

Prohibited:

  • Confetti
  • Artificial petals
  • Balloons
  • Glitter
  • Sparklers / pyrotechnics
  • Rice

Allowed outdoors: real petals, birdseed, bubbles.

What are the noise and timing rules?
  • Music at reasonable volume at all times
  • Volume lowered after 9 PM
  • Events must end by 10 PM
  • Pavilion must be vacated by 11 PM
Is there a security deposit?
Yes — a $500 damage/security deposit is required, refunded within 3 days if no damage or cleaning issues arise.
What is the cancellation policy?
All payments are non-refundable. If the date is successfully re-rented, payments are refunded minus $100. Cancellations must be made in writing.
Are pets allowed?
Pets welcome with pre-approval and must remain leashed.
Can we visit before booking?
Yes — visits are encouraged. We will show the Pavilion, cabins, ceremony spaces, and the property. Share a few dates that work for you.
